Dr. Selina Brittain, D.C. was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 1992 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. She worked as a Medical Social Worker specializing in HIV/AIDS patients at LBJ County Hospital.
It was during this time that she began receiving Chiropractic care; not because of an injury or pain, but because she wanted the wellness and healing that it offered. It wasn't too long before she was inspired to become a Chiropractor herself. It was the next step to working with people on an even deeper level.
She attended Texas Chiropractic College and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in April of 1998 and has been practicing since. During her schooling, she learned from her mentors, Dr. Donald Epstein D.C., Dr. Guy Schenker D.C., and Dr. Stephen Benthall, D.C. in the fields of Chiropractic/Healing, and Nutrition/ Biochemistry.
